Sail the Sunset and Sleep the Night.

Vicky and Tsubasa joined Fu Kyo to
Sail the Sunset
and to have a good experience sleeping the night on board.

Amazing neh!

This is what they wrote at TripAdvisor:

My wife and I are on a 10day vacation and after reading great reviews about Fukuoka Sunset Sailing, we decided our first stop will be this.

What an amazing experience it was. The ride was smooth, the wind was refreshing, the sunset was amazing and on our return we saw the night view of the port including the colorful illuminated ferris wheel and the lit up chapel.

We also stayed overnight on the Sailing Catamaran which includes shower with hot water, beds and a kitchen!

I would like to say big thanks to the Captain Yap and crew member Rick who made this trip a memorable one. We now have interest in sailing and we hope to sail you soon in the future!

Thank you Tsubasa and Vicky.

Indeed, hope to Sail you Again.

More about the Birdwatching trips with Fu Kyo

Bird-watching Out at Sea.

Ever tried to do so on a mono-hull?

Marijke made some great updates.
Here are the links to what was seen those 2 days.

Part 1 & 6 are the main reason to go on
this bird-watching trip with Fu Kyo the Cat.
And indeed it was a success.
Fu Kyo is just an ideal vessel for this kind of events.

Great Pictures, Marijke!

Fu Kyo is looking for crew.

Fu Kyo is looking for crew (1).

If you like to go a for Sail on the Bay
and are happy to share a hand,
hoist a sail and help the customers....
please let me know.
090-4773-1410

As you can understand,
this is not a regular job,
doesn't have regular hours and
doesn't get paid the regular salary
(but we do pay some).

Experience isn't needed: training while we are sailing.
But: Luff for the Sea is a must.

How many crew doesn't NIPPON MARU need to go for Sail?

March 2015 Bird-watching Trips with Fu Kyo to Eboshi Jima

 Eboshi Jima,
half way between Hakata Bay and Iki Shima,
is known to the birders as a unreachable bird-haven island.
You can't go there unless you have a boat.
AND it must be flat calm to see the tinny little sea-birds that use this island as a base.
For the real bird-talk, please check out Marijke's blog:

So, off we went one Saturday morning with a group of keen bird-watching camera men & women.

AND a reporter for BS Asahi TV.
Yes Fu Kyo will be On Air:
21 April 2015 between 19:00 --- 21:00.
All Japan.

First thing to see that morning (06:15)...

Pretty Sunrise.

 Eboshi Jima,
half way between Hakata Bay and Iki Shima.

3 Days later, a second group of birders came on board.
Fu Kyo sailed the same course and again we spotted those tinny little amazing birds..
(see marijke's blog)
and more..

...need bird-watching service..?
We land the birds on our deck for you!

How about this hitch-hiking night heron?
